Repair prices, written down before we start
Every visit begins with a $95 diagnostic. After that, your technician writes an estimate you can accept or turn down, and the tables below show where each type of repair begins.

- $95 diagnosticcounted toward the repair you approve
- Up to $18 offfor seniors 65+, veterans and military
- $10 offthe second appliance checked on one visit
- Same-day visitsMonday through Saturday
What the $95 visit covers
The diagnostic is the part of the visit where we find out what is actually wrong. Your technician runs the appliance through the failing cycle, reads stored fault codes, tests the outlet, breaker and supply, and puts a meter on the parts that could be responsible. The result is a written estimate that names the fault and the repair price.
- You approve the repair: the $95 is credited toward it, so the visit isn't paid for twice.
- You decline: $95 is the whole bill, and the written diagnosis stays with you.
- The fault is outside our work: you hear that at once, along with our view on whether repair elsewhere or replacement makes more sense.
Seniors, veterans, military, and a second appliance
Households with someone 65 or older, a veteran, or an active-duty service member get up to $18 off the repair price. Check the box in the booking form, or tell us during the call, and it appears on the written estimate. It applies to the repair, not to the diagnostic.
If another appliance is acting up, have it checked on the same trip. Its diagnostic comes down by $10, and each machine gets its own estimate, so you can say yes to one and wait on the other.

2026 starting prices for Lynnwood and nearby towns. The $95 diagnostic counts toward any repair you approve, and your technician writes the exact figure down before work begins.
What moves the number
The tables list starting prices for common repairs. They aren't a quote: the exact price is the one on your estimate after the diagnostic. A few things push a job above its starting figure:
- The part itself. A control board for a built-in refrigerator is a different item from a door switch, even inside the same category.
- The installation. A stacked laundry pair in a tight closet, a wall oven set into cabinetry or a built-in with custom panels is harder to reach and to put back together.
- More than one fault. A failed drain pump sometimes has a cracked hose behind it; each item gets its own line.
Your address never moves the number. Edmonds, Everett and Kenmore pay what Lynnwood pays.
Common questions
Why charge for a diagnostic at all?
Finding the fault is real work: testing components, reading codes, checking the supply. Charging $95 for it means the repair price doesn't have to hide that cost, and the amount is credited back the moment you approve the repair. If you decide not to go ahead, you still leave with a written diagnosis you can use however you like.
Can I approve only part of an estimate?
Yes. When there is more than one fault, or two appliances, each item is written separately, and you can approve whichever matters most right now. If a second problem would make the first repair pointless, for example a failed board alongside a worn-out motor, your technician points that out before you sign off on anything.
Is the price different for gas and electric models?
Starting prices are set by appliance category, and the tables don't split gas from electric. What changes is the part: a gas oven igniter and an electric bake element are different repairs at different prices, and your estimate names whichever one your range needs. The diagnostic costs $95 either way.
Do I pay anything if you can't fix it?
If the diagnosis shows a fault we don't repair, such as a failed compressor, or a repair that makes little sense on an aging machine, you pay the $95 diagnostic and nothing more. You get a written note of what failed, which helps when you shop for a replacement or call in another trade.
Does a repair come with a warranty?
Yes. Each finished repair is covered by a written warranty, with the terms printed on the paperwork your technician leaves behind. If the same problem shows up again, call the number on that paperwork, mention the date of the first visit, and we'll arrange for someone to look at it.
What if the part has to be ordered?
Common parts ride in the vehicle, but some control boards and model-specific components have to be ordered from the supplier. When that happens, your technician tells you roughly how long the part should take, and we schedule a return visit to fit it once it arrives. Nothing is installed until you've approved the estimate.
